People are people no matter how small, or what they look like. That is what a manager of a rest stop restaurant figured out after someone with down-syndrome came to work for him. Stevie (down-syndrome boy) was working at this place for 3 years and one day he didn't show up for work because he went in for surgery. Well everybody there was worried but when news got there that he was out of surgery and recovering from it very well everybody was filled with joy and one lady named Franny, started dancing around her tables and cheering when one trucker that Stevie was very fond of asnd liked a lot said whats all the cheering about? She told him the story about Stevie and paying for the bills. Well after she was done working that table she went back to it and found three folded napkins that contained three 20 dollar bills each. By the time Stevie came back to work there was over $10,000 in cash and checks for him from truckers and truck companies. There was a bunch of things to be happy for but all the while that thank you's were going around with hugs Stevie was cleaning the table. That just shows how much people care for eachother!!!!
