Thanksgiving Story

Well we were read a story about a mean parrott and a guy who disciplined him.  Well this parrott was just a super butthead to the guy saying rude comments to him.  So the guy said thats enough, and put the parrott in the freezer.  He left the bird in there for a couple minutes.  The parrott was squaking and screeching for about a minute then all of a sudden he just stopped.  So the guy opened up the door to see what was the matter and the parrott walked out onto the guys waitting arm and apologized for what he did.  But when the guy was about to ask the bird what the change of attitude was about the bird answered his question "For my sake what did the turkey do?"  I think that the story was hilllarious.  I would never put a bird in a freezer but the question that the bird asked is hillarious!!!!!

Important Quote of the Day

There Are No Short Cuts For Anything Worth Going For- Beverly Hills.  I don't know about you but this quote makes a lot of sense.  My dad and grandpa would always say to me "if you take the easy way in life your life will be hard, but if you take the hard way in life your life will be easy."  I have so much to live for and I would hate to have my life be hard.  I don't like to that people think that life is easy when you gor through life with the easy road thinking process, because its not.  I work hard in school so that I can get into a good college, get a job, and support my family when I am older.  I will work as hard as I can to be able to support myself and family.

Baseball Memories

Well we watched a little clip today about a girl who was in the Womens Championship Baseball (for Teens) and her goal was to hit a home run.  Well that dream came true.  With 2 people on bases she hit a home run (her first ever).  Well while everybody was cheering she had realized that she missed the first base, so she turned around and something happened to where she collapsed.  When she crawled back to first base she took hold of that and didn't let go.  Well 2 players on the other team took a stand and went and asked the ump if they could cary the girl to the home plate, because her team mates (by the rule book) could not touch her or else she was out.  Because these girls realized what it meant to her they went over and got approval then they went and asked the girl on first base and told her she deserved it and she said yes.  So they passed every base touching it with her left foot and when they got back to the base the team thanked her and went to back to their own team.  These girls showed respect to the other team because of what they did for the girl and she said she would never be able to thank them enough.  Nor would I

Something for Stevie

People are people no matter how small, or what they look like.  That is what a manager of a rest stop restaurant figured out after someone with down-syndrome came to work for him.  Stevie (down-syndrome boy)  was working at this place for 3 years and one day he didn't show up for work because he went in for surgery.  Well everybody there was worried but when news got there that he was out of surgery and recovering from it very well everybody was filled with joy and one lady named Franny, started dancing around her tables and cheering when one trucker that Stevie was very fond of asnd liked a lot said whats all the cheering about?  She told him the story about Stevie and paying for the bills.  Well after she was done working that table she went back to it and found three folded napkins that contained three 20 dollar bills each.  By the time Stevie came back to work there was over $10,000 in cash and checks for him from truckers and truck companies.  There was a bunch of things to be happy for but all the while that thank you's were going around with hugs Stevie was cleaning the table.  That just shows how much people care for eachother!!!!

Mark Twain Quote

Today we read a qoute by Mark Twain.  The quote is: "Twenty years from now you will be more dissapointed by the things that you don't by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.  So throw of the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sail.  Explore. Dream.  Discover"  Mark Twain (1835-1910).   I think that this quotes sais a lot about the different generations in the world.  But it will not happen to me!  I will do what I have always dreamed of doing.  I promise this to myself!

One Mand Band

Well today we watched a short film called One Man Band.  It was about two guys who were playing a bunch of instruments and they got so competative that it started to wound horrible and a little girl who was going back and forth between both of them had to plug her ears but when she did plug her ears she dropped her coin down the drain and so she took an instrument from one of the guys and started to play it.  She got a bag full of coins and she took 2 coins out and threw them into the fountain behind to make the guys get the coins themselves.  I think the point to that movie is that it is not always about winning but having fun in doing what you're doing.

Lifted

Well we watched a video with no words but there were emotions involved.  I think the point of this movie was to show people that not all Aliens know how to beam something up or fly a U.F.O.  I believe that we can always believe in ourselves and our pupils and that they can always learn from their mistakes.

Hey

Hey everybody, How's life for you?  Mine is doing okay actually.  I have been very happy lately (strange I know).  Haha Im just kidding.  See cheerful.  I think something is going wrong with me.  Im just kidding.  Soooo what is going on with you.   There is not much going on with me though.  I wanted to go to a friends house and spend the night there but my dad wants to do family things.  He wants us to go watch a movie we have seen 3 times but I guess he doesn't care as long as he can have family time.  I am okay with it but I wish it could be something different.  Well that is pretty much it for my end.  See ya later.

Quotes

"Courage is not the absence of fear, rather the judgement that something else is more important then fear" -James Neil Hollingworth.  This qoute was written on the board in Technology today and I was asked to write what I think of it.  Well to answer the question, I totally agree with this quote.  I have always heard that quote and I always think of it.  This quote helps me to realize a lot of things.  But it is different every time.  I geuss thats the beauty of quotes.  For instance I am feeling sad right now and don't know how to handle life or courage.

Besides that quote I think I am having a somewhat great day.   I have so many caring teachers and friends.  I love all of them.  Life can get better and I know it.  I just wish it would happen sooner.
